Özet
Mitral valve repair is the preferred method of surgical treatment for patients with mitral valve disease. There are numerous reported repair techniques. A posterior annuloplasty technique with a homemade, adjustable polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) annuloplasty ring is described.
