dc.description.abstractEpilepsi, toplumun % 2'sini etkileyen, sık görülen kronik bir hastalıktır. Epilepsinin çoğu zaman belirsiz olan doğası, hastaların, pek çok psikososyal zorluklar yaşamasına neden olmaktadır. Epilepsili hastalarda, genel popülasyona oranla anksiyete ve depresyon oranlarının daha fazla olduğu bildirilmiştir. Epilepsili hastaların normal popülasyona göre fiziksel açıdan daha az aktif olduğu da bildirilmiştir. Epilepsili hastalarda egzersizin önemli yararlan olduğu bilinmektedir Belli önlemler alındığı sürece pek çok epilepsi hastası spor yapabilir.en_US
dc.description.abstractEpilepsy is a common disease affecting 2% of the population. The uncertain nature of epilepsy gives rise to a variety of psychosocial difficulties in subjects with epilepsy. Individuals with epilepsy show higher levels of anxiety and depression than the general population. Patients with epilepsy also become physically less active than the general population. Exercise is known to be useful for epileptic patients. If certain precautions are taken most of the patients with epilepsy can participate in sports activities.en_US
