dc.description.abstractAmaç: Ucuz, kolay ve hızlı bir yöntem olan "inseminasyon "da başarıyı arttırabilmek için çok sayıda çalışma yapılmaktadır. Bu işlem için hastadan alınan örnekler hazırlama aşamasından sonra; farklı nedenlerle kateter ya da tüp içerisinde laboratuvarlarda bekletilmektedir. Çalışmada; bu bekleme süresinin sperm motilitesi üzerine etkilerinin incelenmesi amaçlandı. Materyal ve Metod: Bu amaçla 15 hastadan alınan örnekler tüp ya da katater içerisinde 1 ila 3 saat bekletildi. Yıkama öncesi, yıkama sonrası, hazırlama işleminden 1 saat sonra ve 3 saat sonra örneklerdeki sperm hareketliliği ayrıntılı şekilde incelendi. Aynı hastadan alınan örnek hem tüp hem de kateter içerisinde bekletildi. Tüm verilerin karşılaştırmalı istatistikleri yapıldı. Bulgular: Sonuçlar; örneklerin hazırlandıktan sonra katetere yüklenerek bekletilmesinin daha iyi olduğunu gösterdi. Bu bekleme süresi uzadıkça motilite oranı da anlamlı şekilde azalmakta idi. 3 saat sonra istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık görüldü. Sonuç: Bulgularımız; örneklerin hazırlandıktan sonra en kısa sürede hastaya verilmesinin başarıyı arttırabilecek önemli faktörlerden biri olduğunu göstermektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractAim: insemination is an easy, fast and affordable technique. There are many studies related about how to increase the sucsess of this technique. Waiting time of the insemination specimens in the laboratory varies under different conditions. The aim of the study was to examine the effects of the waiting time of the specimens on sperm motility. Materials and Methods: Specimens from 15 patients were left in the incubators at 37°Cfor 1 or 3 hours. Sperm motilty was counted before preparation, right after preparation, 1 hour later and also 3 hours later after preparation. Specimens from each patients were either in tube or in catheter. Statistical analysis were made. Findings: Sperm motility was much better in the specimens in catheters. As waiting time was increased, sperm motilty was decreased. Statistical meaningful differences were clear on the specimens which were waited for 3 hours. RESULTS: The study shows that one of the important factor to increase the succes at insemination is to give the prepared specimens to the patients as soon as possible.en_US
