Meme estetiği ameliyatı geçirmenin öz bakım gücüne etkisi / The effect of undergoing breast aesthetic surgery on self-care

Bu çalışmada meme estetiği ameliyatı olacak hastaların tanımlayıcı bir çalışma ile öz bakım gücünün ölçülmesi hedeflendi. İstanbul ilinde hizmet veren bir özel üniversite hastanesinde. Şubat 2023 – Temmuz 2023 tarihleri arasında meme estetiği ameliyatı olacak olan 80 hasta ile hem ameliyat öncesi yüz yüze tekniği ile hem de ameliyattan bir hafta sonra telefon görüşmesi ile gerçekleştirildi. Araştırma verileri ‘Hasta Tanıtıcı Formu’ , ‘Ameliyat ile İlgili Bilgi Formu’ ve ‘Öz Bakım Gücü Ölçeği’ ile toplandı. Verilerin analizinde SPSS (Statistical Package Program for Social Science) 21.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edildi. Öz bakım gücü ölçek puanlarının normallik sınamasında Kolmogorov-Smirnov ve Shapiro-Wilk testler kullanılmıştır. Gruplardaki örneklem büyüklüğü 50’den büyük olduğundan Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi dikkate alınmıştır. Analizlerde güven aralığı %95 (anlamlılık düzeyi p<0,05) olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan hastaların öz bakım gücü ölçek puan ortalamasının ameliyat öncesi 139,66±13,27; ameliyat sonrası 141,25±13,43 olduğu, ameliyat sonrası öz bakım gücü daha yüksek olmakla birlikte ameliyat öncesi ve sonrası öz bakım gücü arasında anlamlı farklılık olmadığı belirlendi. Meme estetiği ameliyatı hastaların öz bakım gücünü etkilemediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu nedenle yaygın olarak tercih edilen bir seçenek olduğunu söyleyebiliriz.

In this study, it was aimed to measure the self-care power of patients who will undergo breast aesthetic surgery with a descriptive study. It is in a private university hospital serving in the province of Istanbul. The mean self-care power scale score of the patients participating in the study was 139.66±13.27 before surgery; it was determined that it was 141.25±13.43 after surgery, while the postoperative self-care power was higher, there was no significant difference between the preoperative and postoperative self-care power. Dec. It has been concluded that breast aesthetic surgery does not affect the self-care capacity of patients. For this reason, we can say that it is a widely preferred option.
