Yayın Nursing student’s view of violence against women: evaluation with(Maltepe Üniversitesi, 2020) İldeniz, Oktay; Abdullayeva, Mukarrama; Yacan Kök, Ayşe; Hakbilen, Hilal GamzeIntroduction: The World Health Organization stated that the segment most affected by individual violence in the world is women. Violence against women is a universal human rights violation that takes the first place among the social problems that need attention, affecting not only women but also the whole society. The violence that women are exposed to throughout their life is one of the critical factors affecting their health status. It is essential to prevent this problem that affects the health of the individual and the society as well as preventing violence and determining it early in the case of exposure, protecting and improving health. In this context, nurses who are one of the most important members of the health system also have significant duties. This ituation reveals the necessity of determining the attitudes of the nursing students, who are the future members of the nursing profession, on violence against women while they are still in the education process and paying attention to this issue in the context of education. Method: This study was planned as a qualitative search with the vignette technique to raise awareness for nursing students to take responsibility in cases of violence against women that they may encounter in their live sand to get preliminary information for organising educational programs. There are 30 students in the Akdeniz University Nursing Faculty Theater Group, and all participants who agree to participate in the study are included in the research without selecting the sample. In Vignette technique, which is one of the qualitative research methods, content analysis is done by completing the story of the participants. The data obtained from the research will be evaluated by content analysis in NVIVO 10 program. It is carried out among the students who agree to participate in there search among the students of Akdeniz University Nursing Faculty Theater Club. Permission was obtained from Akdeniz University Ethics Committee. Findings: Research data is in the process of collecting, and the results will be presented at the congress. Conclusion: It is recommended to organise training programs to raise awareness for nursing students to take responsibility in cases of violence against women.
