dc.description.abstractAmaç: Bu araştırma, cerrahi operasyon geçiren hastaların konfor düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırma tanımlayıcı bir araştırmadır. İstanbul’da bir vakıf üniversitesi hastanesinde, Mayıs 2017’de yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın evrenini, cerrahi operasyon geçiren hastalar, örneklemini araştırma kriterlerini karşılayan 189 hasta oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak “Hasta Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu” ve “Genel Konfor Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma için etik kurul izni ve hastalardan bilgilendirilmiş onam alınmıştır. Bulgular: Hastaların genel konfor düzeyleri %56 bulunmuştur. Çevresel konfor %52, fiziksel konfor %54, psikospirütüel konfor %64 ve sosyokültürel konfor %67 olarak belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelik bakımından memnuniyet ile konfor arasında pozitif yönde bir ilişki bulunduğu, kronik hastalık varlığının konforu negatif etkilediği, kişisel mahremiyete özen göstermenin konforu artırdığı, servislerdeki konfor düzeylerinin birbirinden farklı olduğu, cinsiyet ve medeni durumun konfor üzerinde fark oluşturmadığı belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Cerrahi operasyon geçiren hastaların konforunu artırıcı fiziki, çevresel, psikospirütüel, sosyokültürel araştırmaların yapılması hastaların kişisel mahremiyetlerine özenli davranılması, konforu artırıcı girişimsel araştırmaların yürütülmesi önerilebilir.en_US
dc.description.abstractAim: The aim of this study was to determine the comfort levels of patients undergoing surgery. Material and methods: This is a descriptive study. It was conducted in May 2017 at a foundation university hospital in Istanbul. The population of the study consisted of 189 patients who underwent surgery and the sample of the study met the criteria of the study. “Patient Identification Information Form” and “General Comfort Scale” were used as data collection tools. Ethics committee approval and informed consent were obtained from the patients. Findings: 52%, physical comfort 54%, psychospirutual comfort 64% and sociocultural comfort 67%. It has been determined that there is a positive relationship between satisfaction with nursing and comfort, that chronic illness negatively affects comfort, attention to personal privacy increases comfort, comfort levels in services are different from each other, gender and marital status do not make a difference on comfort. Results: Physical, environmental, psycho-cultural and sociocultural studies that increase the comfort of patients undergoing surgical operation should be conducted with care for the personal privacy of patients and conducting interventional studies that increase comfort.en_US
