Özet
Bu çalışma ile amaçlanan, estetiğin Alexander Baumgarten ile felsefenin bir alt dalı olarak benimsenmesinden önceki dönemin rolünün gösterilmesidir. Bu türden bir amaç için öncelikle estetiğin miladı olarak gösterilen Baumgarten’la beraber felsefi estetikten ne anlaşıldığı açık kılınacaktır. Baumgarten’ın açtığı kapıdan geçen Kant’ın ve sonrasında Hegel’in estetikten ne anladığına kısaca değinilecektir. Sonuç olarak ulaşılmak istenen noktada, estetiğin Aydınlanma döneminden önce varolmadığı gibi bir kanıyı değiştirmek ve bunu temellendirmek vardır. Her ne kadar estetik kavramını Almanlar kullanmış olsa da modern felsefi estetik denildiğinde İngilizler’de Shaftesbury üzerinden gelen akım, Almanlar’daki Wolff temeli ve Fransızlar’da ise Du Bos’un önemi göz ardı edilmemelidir. Bu tarihsellik dikkate alınmadan Aesthetica’nın sıfırdan bir başlangıç yaptığı gibi görüşü kabul etmek yanlış olur.
The aim of this study is to show the role aesthetics before the adoption of Alexander Baumgarten as a subdivision of philosophy. For such a purpose, it will be enlightened what Baumgarten, which is firstly shown as a pillar of aesthetics, and what is understood about philosophical aesthetics. Kant who passed through Baumgarten's door and what Hegel understands aesthetics will be briefly mentioned. As a result, there is a need to change a judgment that aesthetics did not exist before the Enlightenment period and it needs to be founded. Although the Germans used the concept of aesthetics, when modern philosophical aesthetics is called, the ecole coming through Shaftesbury in the English, Wolff background in the Germans, and in the French, the importance of Du Bos should not be overlooked. Without considering this historicity, it would be wrong to assume the view that Aesthetica is starting from scratch.
