Özet
This study focuses on the structural and environmental relationship of globalization in housing projects, as well as its effects on the culture. Globalization generates the society, its living styles and practices and cultural, economic and technological trends. “Globalized culture” changes and modifies possible trends, individuals and their living styles. Therefore, it is rather natural that it affects shaping of the residences, and they are one of the places that are open to changes. Because all of these places provide their owners and/or users feelings such as sense of identity and belonging, and at the same time they are regarded as investment tools. Living styles open to global trends, brand names and fashion drifts are observed especially in large cities, where dynamic changes are experienced. In this context, in the investigation of global residencesenvironmental relationship, Ankara has formed the sampling of the study because it is the capital city and it forms a sample for irregularities that are experienced in the recent years.
