Yayın Genç erişkinde hareketli sağ ventrikül trombüsü: akut pulmoner emboli cerrahisi(Ordu Üniversitesi, 2014) Demir, Deniz; Tulay, Cumhur Murat; Yiğit, Tuba; Demir, DenizPulmonary embolism is a life-threatening clinical condition. Although there are well-known risk factors for pulmonary embolism, approximately 1/3 of cases occur without any predisposing factor. Anticoagulation, thrombolysis, catheter embolectomy and surgery are treatment strategies. We wanted to explain a case who had multiple mobile thrombotic masses which extended from right atrium to the right ventricle. Right atriotomy with cardiopulmonary bypass was done to the patient and about 20-30 cc fresh thrombus were taken from the right atriumYayın Late onset subclavian artery - vein fistula due to gunshoot wound(Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, 2014) Demir, Deniz; Tulay, Cumhur Murat; Tosun, Ali; Demir, DenizTraumatic arterio-venous fistula usually results from gunshot wounds. A-V fistula may be diagnosed several years after trauma. Most of the A-V fistulas are seen at lower extremities but Subclavian A-V fistula is less common in general. A 81 year old woman was admitted to hospital with swelling at right anterior portion of neck which happened 30 years ago because of gunshot wound.. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance (MR) angiography showed arteriovenous fistula between distal part of right subclavian artery and subclavian vein. Endovascular surgery was planned, but patient and her relatives did not accept operation. We want to report an arteriovenous fistula which was happened 30 years before due to gunshot woundYayın Late revascularization of brachial artery injury: two cases(Springerlink, 2015) Demir, Deniz; Tulay, Cumhur Murat; Abanoz, Mustafa; Demir, DenizTraumatic brachial artery injuries are important peripheral vascular injuries. Vascular lacerations of the upper extremity can result in severe dysfunction, loss of limbs, and/or death. Emergency surgery has almost always been needed immediately after arterial injuries. In our practice, however, we have encountered Syrian refugees presenting with symptoms and signs of ischemia 2 months following brachial artery sustained in war. A lot of reports on brachial artery injury are found in literature, but revascularization after 2 months for completely transected arteries was the most unique aspect of our cases.
