The big parts of working nurses are female. This is not by accident. The women are in generally compassionate and emotionally attached to the pain of others. Nurses are related to the hospital treatment of all kinds of patients; their main goal is to gain their trust .Intimate partner violence and domestic violence and abuse IPV/DVA are a massive health problem. The response of nurses to women in these circumstances can have a significant effect on their willingness to open up or to seek help. Some responses to assist successful communication in these circumstances include listening, accepting and understanding. Introduction: As an act of domestic violence, DVA is considered every act of violence or other abuse in a domestic setting, such as in marriage or cohabitation. Intimate partner violence IPV is often using synonymously with domestic violence abuse. IPV refers to an act of physical or psychological abuse between intimate partners. The difference is that DVA can include all family member not only intimate related once. This includes the children and other people living in common circumstances. A lot of women are hospitalized because of domestic violence, but the cases with hospitalized children are becoming more and more common. Some marks of domestic abuse can be easily detected, such as physical marks. In other cases, the evidence may not be visible such as low self – esteem, anxiety and constant apprehension. Research suggests women who have been an object of violence tend not to ask professionals for help. The role of the nurse in cases of found violence is to protect and understand the victim. Materials and Methods: document method – analysis of literary sources Results and Discussion: The aim of this report was to present the nurses’ algorithm in case of domestic or intimate partner violence.
