Gel electrophoresis features extraction and pattern recognition using LVQ neural network

The linear vector quantization (LVQ) and pattern recognition is a great match for learning about features extracted from digital images and recognize them after learning about their features. The dataset used in this paper is a real gel electrophoresis images where 6 features extracted from the images where fed into a neural network to learn about them and then tested and a great 100% recognition rate was the result.
