    Communicative power of emoji faces and their use in different countries

    Social media is one of the most preferred ways of communicating with others. Today, in daily conversations, and even in commercial works. it has been widely seen that people use emoji faces in order to express themselves. From this point of view, emoji faces have a similar function with nonverbal communication codes, when words are not sufficient to explain feelings, people try to express themselves with their body: using gestures and facial expression, which constitutes 65% of human communication. These are important to make a conversation effectave and interesting. Emoji taces also give us a chance to explain the things we cannot explain by using keyboards. Emoji faces help us communicate our emotions and tone of what we say which is otherwise difficult to convey in written words...

    Egzersiz ilişkili rabdomiyoliz: Olgu sunumu / Exercise-associated rhabdomyolysis: A case report

    Rabdomiyoliz, iskelet kası yaralanması sonucu hücre içeriğinin dolaşıma girmesi ile karakterize klinik ve biyokimyasal bir sendromdur. Miyoglobin ve miyosit hücre zarı hasarına sekonder dolaşıma salınan elektrolitler komplikasyonların gelişmesinden sorumludur. En yaygın semptom üçlüsü kas ağrısı, çay rengi idrar ve azalmış idrar miktarıdır. Biz bu olgu sunumunda egzersiz ilişkili rabdomiyoliz olgusunu güncel literatür eşliğinde sunmayı amaçladık.
